We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in Xero and a strong understanding of financial processes.
Duties
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
Manage accounts payable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently.
Utilise Xero to manage financial data.
Ensure receivables are collected in line with invoice terms.
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred.
Proficiency in Xero.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
