We're expanding our team and looking for a
proactive, detail-oriented Accounts Assistant
to support our busy finance operations.
The Role
As our new
Accounts Assistant
, you'll play a key part in keeping our finances running smoothly and efficiently.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Raising and issuing
invoices and credit notes
in
Xero
, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Checking and
raising invoices for consignment saddle sales
promptly to maintain accurate records.
Allocating invoices
to our
Order Management System
.
Managing our
Trade Portal
, ensuring all
Saddle Fitter accounts are up to date with trial orders and payments
.
Processing refunds and returns
in a timely and accurate manner.
Making payments for purchases
, ensuring supplier accounts are well managed.
Reconciling accounts
and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Liaising with
suppliers
to ensure invoices are uploaded to Xero correctly.
Chasing outstanding payments
in a polite and professional manner.
Assisting management with administrative and finance-related enquiries
.
Identifying opportunities to
streamline and improve processes
for greater efficiency.
Working collaboratively with management to maintain accurate financial records.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
Proficient in Xero
(essential).
Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail.

Previous experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role would be advantageous.
