We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding national business based in Poulton. This is a full-time, office-based role in the town centre.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our expanding team to provide a central administration service reporting directly to the Finance and Administration Manager. You will work closely with all departments to provide a vital link to support business operations.
Responsibilities
Carrying out general office administration duties, including maintaining a tidy and organised workspace.
Managing office purchases, orders, and supplier relationships.
Overseeing utility contracts, obtaining quotes, and liaising with external contractors.
Supporting Health & Safety and HR functions, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Assigning and tracking employee training requirements.
Producing employment contracts and maintaining the HR platform with up-to-date records.
Handling bookkeeping tasks such as sales invoicing and processing transactions.
Collecting and reconciling receipts and managing the company's fixed asset register.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar role for a minimum of 1 year
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload and manage time effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive approach to problem - solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
