Ribby Hall Village, seeks motivated and organised Accounts Administrator to join the Finance team.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful applicant will display high levels of self-motivation, communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a demanding role in order to contribute towards the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
The main duties of the role will be:
Daily banking, reporting and posting to the ledger
Prepare and post journals as well as adjustments to support the completion of the month end accounts
Responsibility for the ongoing reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Review of stock take results and reconciliation to month end accounts, including regular reporting
Liaise with other support functions & prepare re-allocations
Reviewing processes & make suggestions for changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, etc.
Support the Holiday Home Sales department in the preparation of their monthly management accounts
Assist the Finance Manager, Financial Controller and Financial Accountant as required
Ad hoc tasks as required by business demand
Our perfect match will possess the following essential attributes:
AAT Level 4 or equivalent demonstrable experience
Must have excellent numeracy skills
Should have at least 2 years general accounts/business experience
Must be able to work as part of a team
Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
Have a good knowledge of accounting practices and PC skills including Microsoft tools
Knowledge of working with an ERP system, i.e. Xledger, preferable
Must have good attention to detail and be able to work under pressure
Availability:
The role is offering 30 hours per week, in a department that operates 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).
