Shropshire Stainless and Aluminium Ltd (SSA) is a large UK multi-metals stockholder of stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, and bronze products. Selling to a large range of customer's right across a varied supply chain, we deliver to the whole of the UK and Ireland from our Shrewsbury Headquarters with additional Locations in Yate Near Bristol & Lurgan in Northern Ireland
You will be working from our Shrewsbury site as part of an experienced accounts team, dealing with Sales & Purchase ledger duties as well as any general administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Matching customer delivery notes with computerised system
Producing invoice / credit reports as required
Creation and general upkeep of new accounts
Dealing with payment queries and card payments via phone or email
Cash posting payments using Sage
Reconciling statements
Chasing overdue payments from customers
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties. All training will be provided.
Office Hours
Full time Monday to Thursday 9am - 5:30pm & Friday 8.30am - 5.00 pm inclusive of 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak
Salary: Meets National Minimum Wage Requirements.
