Are you an organised, detail-focused professional with proven experience in accounts administration? We're looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our busy finance team at Precon Products Head Office in Woolpit.
This is not a general admin role, we need someone with hands-on experience in accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
What You'll Be Doing
Processing and storing supplier invoices and customer payments accurately
Reconciling financial records, bank statements, and supplier accounts
Supporting the purchase ledger and sales ledger functions
Liaising confidently with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
Maintaining accounting spreadsheets and internal finance databases
Supporting month-end procedures and assisting with rebate tracking
Providing admin cover and support to the wider finance team when needed
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has worked in a finance or accounts administration role and is confident handling:
Purchase and sales ledger tasks
Bank reconciliations and financial discrepancies
Invoice processing and payment records
Accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
You'll also need strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage your workload in a small, supportive team environment.
Please note: This role is not suitable for candidates without prior accounts or finance experience.
