Job Description

Salary: 25,000 - 28,000
Our client is an established provider of Car Insurance for Young or First Time Drivers who are now looking for an Accounting and Admin Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support the admin team.
The Role
Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile invoices/payments and identify discrepancies
  • Create and update expense reports
  • Process reimbursement forms
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Check spreadsheets for accuracy
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records
  • Creating and monitoring a process for bad debt
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual audits
The Person:
  • 2 years experience within insurance accountancy
  • Knowledge of insurance system OpenGI
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
  • Familiarity with finance regulations
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
  • Ambitious and keen to learn
