We're looking for a site based organised and detail-focused Accounts and Administration Assistant to support the Finance Director and wider team in managing daily accounts and office operations. This role combines financial processing, administrative coordination, and communication with colleagues, customers, and suppliers in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day running of the accounts department and office.
Process sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payments using QuickBooks.
Reconcile bank accounts and prepare weekly and monthly payment runs.
Manage and chase outstanding invoices.
Assist with credit control and ensure invoices are correctly allocated.
Process subcontractor and subscription invoices.
Assist with warranty processing and equipment returns.
Maintain supplier, vehicle, and insurance records.
Manage office administration, including stationery, utilities, and service renewals.
Provide hospitality for visiting clients and general office support.
Skills and Experience
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent numeracy, accuracy, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
