The Role

We are looking for an

Accounts Apprentice

to join our team and start their journey towards becoming a fully qualified accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for business growth.

This is not just about learning numbers - you'll be learning how to make a real difference to businesses, while working alongside an experienced and supportive team. You'll gain hands-on experience across all aspects of accountancy, from bookkeeping and accounts preparation to tax and advisory work.

This role is

office-based

as we believe the best way to learn is to work closely with the team, gaining practical experience and immediate support.

What You'll Do

Learn and assist with bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and tax returns. Support the team in delivering high-quality service to clients. Gain knowledge of business growth strategies and financial analysis. Use and master cloud accounting software (Xero and supporting apps). Explore how technology can streamline financial processes and help clients grow. Participate in team meetings, workshops, and client support. Develop your professional and technical skills through structured training.

About You

We're looking for someone with the following qualities:

A positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Strong interest in accountancy, business, and helping businesses grow. Tech-savvy - comfortable with learning new systems, apps, and digital tools. Alignment with our company values: people-first, growth-minded, innovative, and supportive. Excelling in a pressurised environment - working to deadlines. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Comfortable working in a team environment. A minimum of A-levels (or equivalent qualification) required.
