The Role Overview
As an Accounts Apprentice, you'll be part of our busy Finance Team and supported by an experienced and motivational Finance Team Leader. You'll receive a structured training plan that gradually builds your skills and responsibilities, helping you develop a solid foundation in a range of finance areas.
You'll:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Learn to post prepayments and nominal journals
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and other ad hoc tasks
- Rotate through Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Credit Control to gain a full understanding of how finance functions work together
- Build experience and confidence through real responsibilities and ongoing mentoring
This role will be based in our Stourport office full-time.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- A recent school or college leaver ready to start a full-time apprenticeship
- Maths-minded and enjoys working with numbers
- A good communicator, both written and verbal
- Confident using Excel and keen to improve their computer skills
- Organised, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Open to new ideas and interested in how businesses operate behind the scenes
If you have already completed your apprenticeship, or have 1-2 years of experience, and are interested in joining us, then we will consider your application
