We have an exciting new Accounts Apprentice opportunity which would be ideal for someone who is wanting to start a career in finance. As an Accounts Apprentice you will develop your knowledge and understanding of all areas of the accounts function through training provided by both JCT600 and our selected external training provider.

This role will be based Leeds
Key Responsibilities will include:
Undertaking all training and development required to become qualified in the Accounts Apprentice role.
Attending all AAT training courses as required to complete the apprenticeship qualification.
Ensuring all documentation is completed and accurately in all areas of the accounts function to allow for accurate processing of the wider accounts activity.
Ensuring that all accounting and administrative tasks within area of responsibility are carried out in line with company procedures.
Ensuring accurate and complete processing in all accounts matters.
Communicating effectively and professionally by telephone or email where required.
Qualifications:
A desire for personal development to succeed in the accounts environment and complete the required apprenticeship.
High levels of numeracy and literacy.
Experience within an administrative environment is desirable.
A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong skills in using computer packages such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word is essential.
Motivated by working to targets and under pressure.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
