Due to an expanding business we are looking for a new employee to join the team.
Duties:
Accurately prepare source documents for computer entry by compiling, sorting, and organising documents; resolving questionable data; setting daily priorities. Maintains accounts systems for multiple companies by inputting sales and purchase ledgers. Prevents erroneous entries by inputting voids and cancellations. Updates records by entering adjustments. Complete bank reconciliation and prepare VAT/PAYE/Tax returns Prepare accurate full narrative management account information Prepare and file payroll General office duties including but not limited to answering phone call, emails, dealing with visitors etc. Protects organisation's value by keeping information confidential. Accomplishes accounting and organisation mission by completing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Post A level/NVQMS Office word and excel proficient, Quickbooks, Sage 50 and Xero working knowledge, Data Entry Skills, PC Proficiency, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Organisation, Typing, Thoroughness, Decision Making, Independence, Analysing Information
Would ideally suit a candidate who has already achieved their qualifications (AAT level 3/4 or equivalent). Previous experience in an accountancy practice would be preferred but not essential. Only a Part Time candidate will be considered. Must have at least 2 years worth of supervised accounts experience.
