Are you detail-driven, proactive, and passionate about financial accuracy? We're looking for a

Accounts Assistant

to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, reconciliations, and cash allocations across our Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.


As part of a trusted global security business, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations--supporting our Transaction Manager with data accuracy, control compliance, and streamlined payment processes that underpin our broader financial goals.


This role provides hands-on experience across a broad range of finance activities, offering valuable exposure to real-world business processes and systems such as BC14 and Kefron. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, with opportunities to grow and develop alongside your professional studies. Based in a well-connected office with potential for hybrid working, it's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick-start and build a successful career in finance.

Key Responsibilities



Accurately process supplier invoices and perform voucher entry checks. Manage automated and manual payments, direct debits, and cash allocations. Complete daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow reporting. Allocate customer remittances using Rimilia and Alloc8 systems. Reconcile supplier statements and address unapplied cash and cheques. Support the month-end closing process with balance sheet reconciliations. Uphold best practice in compliance, procurement, and control processes.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring



Experience in financial transaction processing (Accounts Payable/Receivable). Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Navision is a plus. Studying towards or willing to obtain a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
