Unlike a digital agency where the aim is to sell hours, we sell virtual products allowing our staff to work in a more relaxed environment whilst having bigger overall ambitions.
With our head office based in Leeds City Center (LS3 1AB, with parking if required or 12mins walk from train station), Corefinity's staff work mostly from the office and our overall goal is to move towards a 4 day week, currently finishing early on Friday whilst working towards this goal.
Job description
About the role:
This is a great opportunity for an individual with experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration looking to take the next step in their career. This is initially part-time, office-based role with flexibility (2 or 3 days per week, Happy with half days, etc).
You will take control of our day-to-day bookkeeping, primarily using Xero. Your core responsibilities will include reconciling bank transactions and supplier invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and actively chasing outstanding payments.
You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director with a clear career path (if interested) in becoming a Senior Bookkeeper, Management Accountant, or even Finance Manager.
Your work will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the company's cash flow is healthy. You will be able to make a significant contribution to the company's financial stability within this role.
A clear career path will be provided with many opportunities available internally for promotion (e.g., the potential to grow into a senior role or manage the accounts department (if interested) after x years, to be discussed based on experience).
Requirements:
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail are key.
Proven track record in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role, including reconciliation and credit control.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in Xero is essential.
Strong verbal & written communication skills, with a professional manner for chasing payments.
Great team player who is passionate about maintaining accurate records to help grow the business.
