Custom Labels Ltd is seeking an on-site Accounts Assistant to join our finance team, initially on temporary basis to cover for the absence of our Accounts Officer, but with the potential for longer term involvement in future. The candidate needs to be available to start from Wednesday 2nd of July, have proficiency in Sage 50 accounting, and an attention to detail. The role is based on-site at Custom Labels Ltd offices in Bridgwater.

Key duties include:
Raising proforma invoices in Sage 50 from internal Job sheets and distributing to customers.
Raising invoices on account.
Monitoring key email accounts and responding to external and internal queries.
Posting paid proforma invoices into Sage 50 and marking for production.
Posting supplier invoices to Sage 50, checking, and scheduling payment.
Reconciling bank, Sage journals, matching payments to invoices, accruals/prepayments.
Taking payment over phone.
Credit control / chasing settlement.
Potential involvement in Payroll.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an accounts assistant or similar role - including an understanding of key accounting concepts.
Proficiency in Sage, and ideally Sage 50, is essential - across key areas including sales and supplier invoicing, matching, journals
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
