Job Description


We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team on a permanent basis in Bristol. Our Accounts Assistants are a key part of our Finance operation, linking the central finance team to our legal teams. You will be part of a friendly, hardworking team who together maintain the integrity of the firm\'s financial transactional data and ensure activities are carried out in accordance with internal and external compliance requirements. Your responsibilities will be varied with a focus on delivering timely and accurate transactional work and maintaining open lines of communication and a positive relationship between the firm, its suppliers and legal teams. On a day to day basis you will be checking, posting and reconciling high volumes of supplier invoices, credit notes, statements and lots more. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Accounts to develop their skillset alongside our wider team to deliver a seamless and efficient accounts service to the firm. What we\'re looking for:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience within a transactional accounts role (ideally with exposure in a legal environment)
  • Experience working as part of a team to deliver a high quality service.
  • Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to find the cause of an issue.
  • Previous experience and confidence is using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
