THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a top 500, award winning Law Firm based in Manchester. My client have gone through continued growth and have recently opened new offices in Leeds and Liverpool, alongside their London and Manchester offices. My client is looking to hire an Accounts Assistant, to join the Legal Cashier team of 4 and report into the Head Legal Cashier.
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- The processing and posting of client and office accounts transactions including UK bank transfers.
- Billing including allocating WIP.
- Client to office transfers
- Assisting the Purchase Ledger Clerks with processing invoices.
- Allocation of incoming client account funds.
- Assisting in the administration of the firm\'s credit card account.
- Processing, banking & posting of cheques received.
- Processing of any cheques required.
- The administration of petty cash.
- Assisting with the preparatory work for the annual audit of accounts.
- Carrying out other such tasks as might from time to time be required.
- AAT level 2 or above
- Adequate MS Excel skills
- An understanding of SAR\'s is desirable not essential.
