Accounts Assistant
to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has recently finished school or college and is looking to

The Role
In this role, you'll learn and support a variety of finance tasks across
multiple clients
. You'll be trained to raise invoices, process supplier bills, help chase outstanding payments, and work with
various accounting software
and tools like Microsoft Excel. This position is well suited to someone with
a sharp, logical mind
, and an interest in how businesses manage their money. You'll work closely with a supportive team, gain hands-on experience, and build a strong foundation for a future career in finance.
What You'll Be Doing
Create and send invoices to clients
Assisting with following up on unpaid invoices (credit control)
Entering supplier bills and matching them to purchase orders
Keeping financial records up to date using
accounting software
Helping with bank reconciliations and checking transactions
Supporting the team in preparing reports and summaries
Answering emails and helping with finance queries from clients
Being flexible and adapting to different client needs each week
Who We're Looking For
Eager to start a career in finance
(no previous experience needed)
Has
a sharp mind
and a
natural interest in maths
Enjoys solving problems and working through details
Willing to learn and ask questions
Good attention to accuracy and time management
Confident using a computer (especially Excel and email)
Polite, professional, and clear communicator
A team player who's also comfortable working independently
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
A-Level or equivalent qualifications in business, finance, or maths
Some knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
Interest in gaining an AAT or similar finance qualification in the future
