As we continue to grow our energy retrofit and refurbishment portfolio, we're looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our Warm Homes projects.
The Role:
This is a varied role offering exposure to a wide range of accounting tasks. The successful candidate will support the finance team with day-to-day operations, with a focus on
data analysis
and other
general accounting duties
.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with weekly payroll processing, including timesheet analysis and reporting
Analyse financial data to produce reports identifying where efficiencies can be made
Maintain accurate financial records, including purchase and sales ledger entries
Support month-end and year-end processes
Prepare and post journal entries
Bank reconciliations
Assist with VAT returns and other statutory reporting
Assist with Construction Industry Scheme returns
Provide general administrative support to the finance team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in an accounts assistant/finance role, or can show clear evidence of an aptitude for the role
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including use of formulas and data analysis tools)
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
