Fluency in English is essential
, as well as having the right to work in the UK (valid visa or work permit). This is a role for somebody who has at least 3 years' experience in accounting and bookkeeping who wants to jump straight into the real world of fintech.
Duties
Responsibilities will include:
Conduct daily and weekly bank reconciliations in the database, identifying and investigating any discrepancies
Prepare and execute daily and weekly business payment runs, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate
Prepare and post monthly journal entries, invoices, expenses, including those related to intercompany transactions and treasury activities
Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving working capital management and enhancing cashflow efficiency
Gain hands-on experience by rotating through core finance functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial accounting
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and ensure financial alignment
Support internal audit activities and contribute to ad hoc finance projects as required
Prepare and maintain accurate supporting documentation for treasury-related transactions and initiatives
Contribute to daily cash flow reporting and summarisation
Support financial systems setup and maintenance, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Learn directly from team professionals, with structured training and ongoing support provided
Skills / Qualifications:
ACCA educated or Bachelor's degree in accounting, Banking and Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Preferred:
Accounting experience
Knowledge or experience in cash management
Russian language
Experience
At least 3 years' accounts assistant experience
Responsible, proactive, and well-organised
Ability to manage own workload effectively
Confident computer user (Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM)
