About the role
The Accounts Assistant supports the Finance Manager ensuring the smooth administration of the department, answering general finance queries. The Accounts Assistant will support the procurement team with processing invoices against raised PO's and raising any queries and will manage company credit card statements.

What will I be responsible for?
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions including invoicing, receipts and payments
Verify invoices and match to raised PO's
Raising queries
Maintaining the database accurately
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations and policies
Processing of expenses and mileage claims, ensuring full process has been followed
Provide general administrative support for the Finance Manager
What do I need to succeed?
You will be an experienced accounts administrator with exceptional attention to detail. You will be able to work across all facets of the business so will have good interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to work to deadlines and prioritise your workload accordingly is imperative in this role, so good organisational skills are required.
You will be computer literate and have good skills in Microsoft office packages, specifically Word and Excel. Ideally you will have experience working with Sage.
An accounting qualification is advantageous.
