We're BS Care -- a long-established, independent Adult and Social Care provider -- and we are currently on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and experienced finance team.
This is a great long-term role for someone who enjoys the day-to-day of bookkeeping, loves being organised, and is keen to be part of a company that makes a difference in the local community.
What You'll Be Doing
As our new Accounts Assistant, you'll support the finance manager with key bookkeeping tasks including but not limited to:
Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
Managing petty cash reconciliations
Using our bespoke rostering software (don't worry, we'll provide full training!)
Working with Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll
Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
Assisting with general ad hoc accounts/admin duties as needed
What We're Looking For
Experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts assistant role
Comfortable with Excel and accounting systems
A strong attention to detail and an organised mindset
A friendly, team-focused attitude
A genuine interest in accounts and finance
A friendly, confident telephone manner for communicating with staff, clients and suppliers
Able to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member ofthe team
