Job Description

The firm is offering a role in its busy and expanding Creative Industries department with specialisation in the entertainment and arts sectors. This is an opportunity for someone interested in Accounting whilst having some exposure to Tax. The role involves dealing with companies in the Film, Theatre, Animation and Video Games sectors.

Main Responsibilities




Preparation of financial statements from client trial balance or books of prime entry Liaising directly with clients to obtain missing information at the outset of a job Answering client queries on entertainment client issues Collaborate with all Creative industries tax department staff Establish and maintain good relationships with clients Be responsible for their own work flow and communicating progress with managers/ heads of department. Ability to work to deadlines both statutory as well as client-imposed deadlines Ensure compliance with professional standards and ethics Manage and update the client database Review the client database and chase clients whose period end has passed within 4 weeks Perform some clerical and administration duties such as type, print or copy documents and reports, answer the telephone, make appointments and receive and send e-mails. Perform other tasks as and when required within the scope of the job specification

Education and Training




Accounts preparation background knowledge is compulsory You should be part qualified in either ACCA/ qualified AAT * No prior experience is required for the Film/Creative industry as full training will be provided
