Offering clients total supply chain solutions by providing an excellent platform for world class clients providing day one for day one picking capability and complete coverage of the UK and Ireland via eight strategically located warehouses, providing over 100,000 pallet spaces, with a massive 1.5m cases delivered daily.

Our Market Drayton site are now recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00



The purpose of an Accounts Assistant is to work within the finance team, processing invoices for Group & 3rd party suppliers.

Key Duties of an Accounts Assistant:

• As part of a team, to be responsible for processing supplier invoices
• Dealing with any subsequent supplier queries
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Making supplier payments, mainly by Bacs
• Use of SAP for analysis/investigative work as required
• Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

• To be professional and able to operate as a team player or individually as necessary
• Be confident in communicating and dealing with people on the telephone/in person/by mail at all levels both internally with colleagues and externally with suppliers
• Ability to work effectively and without direct supervision
• Conscientious and reliable
• Flexible attitude and methodical approach to work/training/working hours
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
• Be proactive and able to make decisions
• Ideally have experience on Accounts and Accounting software packages such as SAP, ROSS
• Proficient in Computer Literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
