The company provides installation of Generators to all industries, from Hospitals, Festivals, Renewable Energy, Telecoms, General Construction and is the largest supplier to the utilities sector. We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team in Normanton .

Responsibilities



Supporting the Financial Controller Assist with the preparation on the management accounts packs Maintain and update the fixed assets registers Prepare the balance sheet reconciliations for review Daily and monthly bank reconciliation Assistance with daily, weekly and monthly accounting reports Deal with general accounts enquiries Assisting with internal and external audits Producing reports on various expenditures and income Support with annual tax packs and annual audit requirements Other Ad-hoc administration/office duties Line Manager or Director requests are to be completed within the same day or within timescale provided by them

Requirements



Essential

Administration Experience Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction Accounts experience Excellent organisation skills Good communications skills, written and verbal An ability to work efficiently under pressure GCSE in English & Maths Confidence with IT and computer packages especially Excel Use own initiative and work as part of a team A can do attitude to work Ability to ensure the work gets done in a timely and effective manner Ability to follow Company policies and procedures Self-motivated Good telephone manner
Desirable

AAT Part Qualified (ideally level 4) Experience with Sage 200/ Xero accounting packages
