Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to our operations, ensuring accurate financial management and supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional logistics solutions.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable processes efficiently
Process customer invoicing and statements
Credit control
Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Collaborate with the Commercial Director to support financial services operations
Prepare financial statements and reports as required
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Provide support during audits and financial reviews
Assist in resolving discrepancies and enquiries related to accounts
Bank Reconciliation
Maintain and organise documents
Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, GCSE Mathematics grade C or above, AAT level 2 or above preferred

About You:
Experience in
sales/purchase ledger
is essential
Proficient in
SAGE Accounts, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Numerically accurate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self motivated, accurate worker, with a sense of humour
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
