Accounts Assistant
based in Plymouth. Our client, a prominent and growing organisation, is seeking a motivated individual to support their revenue team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of revenue streams and debtor balances from all sales channels. Reporting directly to the Revenue Manager, the position will focus on routine reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining the integrity of revenue processes.
Key Responsibilities
:
Daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reconciliation for multi-currency transactions ( & EUR) across in-store and online platforms.
Identify, report, and escalate discrepancies between sales records and actual revenue.
Reconcile transactions across various payment platforms, including card payments and online payment processors.
Maintain organised records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
Reconcile miscellaneous debtor balances such as finance, petty cash, purchase orders, and chargebacks.
Key Skills and Qualifications
:
Proven experience in financial reconciliation
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry.
study towards relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
Ability to work collaboratively and meet strict deadlines.
