The Opportunity:





As Accounts Assistant (Receivables), you will play a vital role in overseeing the accounts receivable process and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, cash allocation and credit control. Working as part of a small, high-performing finance team, you will help maintain financial accuracy and support our continued growth.

This position is remote-first, with the option to work from our Hammersmith office up to three days a week if preferred. We're open to full-time or part-time hours (minimum 3 days per week).

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Raising sales invoices and credit notes in line with client and Event Manager requirements. Maintaining invoice schedules and supporting revenue recognition with the Finance Manager and Project Accountant. Posting daily bank receipts and assisting with regular payment processing. Performing weekly credit control, including follow-ups, reconciliations and event registration payments. Overseeing client funds, including daily transfers and related reporting. Collaborating with Accounts Payable to support weekly payment runs. Responding to internal and external finance queries professionally and promptly. Contributing to finance reporting and performing ad-hoc duties as required.


The Person:





We are looking for a proactive Accounts Assistant with a strong foundation in accounts receivable and a keen eye for accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in invoicing, revenue scheduling and credit control, ideally within a project-based or events-driven business environment.You will be confident working both independently and collaboratively, with the communication skills to liaise effectively across teams and with external stakeholders. A problem-solving mindset, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting are essential. You should be a confident user of Excel and finance systems. Experience in Sage Intacct would be an advantage. You'll be actively working towards a recognised accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) and demonstrate a strong commitment to continued learning and ongoing professional development.
