Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and talented AAT qualified accounts assistant or equivalent with practice experience to join our friendly and supportive team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in helping our clients succeed, while also developing your skills and advancing your career within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with the preparation of accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, using your strong attention to detail to ensure that all records are accurate and up-to-date. Communicate with clients regularly, building and maintaining strong relationships with them, and using your excellent communication skills to provide support and guidance on accounting and tax matters. Assist with bookkeeping and payroll, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and that all deadlines are met. Prepare management accounts, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients to help them make informed business decisions. Assist with ad-hoc projects as required, working closely with the wider team to deliver high-quality services to our clients. Attend client meetings as required, using your knowledge and expertise to provide support and guidance on accounting and tax matters. Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent client service and support the continued growth of the firm. Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax regulations, ensuring that our clients are fully compliant. Assist with the development of new business opportunities, identifying potential clients and promoting our services to help grow the firm.

Requirements:



AAT qualified or equivalent, with experience working in a practice environment and a strong understanding of accounting and tax principles. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure, ensuring that all deadlines are met. Effective team player, who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-32,000.00 per year
