Accounts Assistant

to join our finance team.

Role Overview:

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll support the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and take ownership of a set of sales ledger accounts. You'll play a key role in ensuring accuracy across invoicing, pricing, and customer queries, contributing to the smooth running of our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a set of sales ledger accounts including pricing, invoicing, and customer queries Assist with pricing and manual/recharge invoicing Provide cover and support to the accounts team in pricing jobs Communicate any concerns clearly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor Handle customer queries and escalate when necessary Monitor and respond to queries in the Accounts Receivable mailbox

What We're Looking For:

GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) Excellent written and spoken English Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and accuracy Organised and methodical approach Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Experience with Prophet (desirable) Previous experience in an accounts role or a strong interest in finance
