We are seeking a Accounts Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day financial transactions. A background or interest in the education or social care sectors is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Process invoices, match purchase orders, prepare staff payroll and prepare payment runs.
Accounts Receivable: Issue invoices, track payments, and manage debtor accounts.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations in QuickBooks.
Expense Management: Verify staff expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
General Ledger: Post journals and maintain the accuracy of ledger accounts.
