Following a change in accounting systems a Accounts Assistant is required to assist in bringing the accounting records up to date using Xero accounting software. Predominantly the role will be to perform the following tasks:
Reconciling bank transactions
Allocating receipts against relevant invoices
Allocating receipts from daily banking on card machines
Allocating payments to the correct suppliers and invoices
Matching credit notes against relevant sales invoices
About you
You will be an exceptionally competent accounts assistant or bookkeeper with substantial recent experience of being responsible for the tasks required for the role. You will enjoy problem solving using your accounting experience and effective communication with other members of the accounts team and wider departments.
Utilising your in-depth knowledge and experience of using Xero accounting software will enable you to be successful in the role.
Requirements
Experience of Xero accounting software is essential
At least 2 years experience of a similar role
Computer literate
Right to work in the UK
