This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, team orientated finance team in Stowmarket during an exciting period of growth! As an Accounts Assistant you will play a pivotal role in the financial and accounting processes.
We are looking for someone who can join us on a
3 or 6 month
contract
due to the busy workload. Flexible working hours to suit candidate, i.e.: school hours OR 3/4 days a week.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales Ledger ensuring all invoices are input onto the systems accurately for reporting figures to the bank, discounting reconciliation and invoicing.
Purchase Ledger (as and when required) - processing payments and invoices, supplier accounts reconciliations
Provide support to fellow colleagues with month and year end processing and general finance tasks
Ad hoc tasks as and when required
Person Specification:
Highly numerate, analytical and accurate
A problem solver with an eye for detail
Ability to organise and manage workload to meet tight reporting deadlines.
Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and procedures
Strong communication skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
IT literate especially in Accounting Software & Microsoft Office.
Invoice discounting experience desirable but not essential.
Hours: Part-Time, flexible hours, 20 hours plus per week.
Salary: DOE flexible.
