Bright Kids has established itself as a quality provider of children's day care across the Midlands and we have an exciting opportunity to become part of the Bright Kids team at our Head Office based in Studley, Warwickshire.

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant who is a confident communicator, a good problem solver and has good Microsoft Office skills. The role is varied and demanding and requires a suitably motivated person to undertake it. You must be willing to learn, have flexibility and be able to work on your own initiative.

You will be involved in the professional and effective maintenance of the financial aspects within the group including monthly payroll, sales & purchase ledger and contributing to the financial activities within the organisation and producing relevant reporting as required to ensure the business needs of the organisation is met.

This is a hands-on and diverse role that will see you working with the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Nominal Ledger. You will be involved in credit control, bank reconciliations, utilities management, data entry, filing as well as other general administration work, in conjunction with the administrative team.

As a confident communicator and a good problem solver you will need to be familiar with Sage 50 and be an experienced Excel user. You will be trained on the other software packages in use.

You will expected to have GCSE equivalence of a pass in Maths and English. Further qualifications in Accounting or Business Administration are definitely advantageous but not essential to undertake the role as recent experience will also count in favour of the successful candidate.

Hours:



24 to 32 hours per week with exact days and times to be agreed upon appointment but with Monday, Wednesday and Friday being the preferred days.
