You must be organised and process-driven, with an eye for detail. You will need to be familiar with Sage 200 and have experience in an accounts / bookkeeping role. You will be required to work as part of team, so strong communication skills are essential.
Experience working in a busy office environment, understanding the importance of stock management and control, forecasting and calculating margin are essential. You must be able to follow procedures, as well as offer suggestions for improvements. You will need to be polite, friendly, hardworking and take pride in your work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking someone who can take charge of our stock management, working closely with our Warehouse Manager and Accounts Manager to ensure efficient stock control. The successful applicant must be able to provide forecasts, reporting to the SLT.
The role requires someone who can assess and evaluate our cost of acquisition, ensuring processes and pricing are adequate, offering suggestions for improvement or negotiation.
The role will be based at our head office in Surrey.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS
To have experience using Sage 200
To be proficient working on spreadsheets
To understand CRM systems, ideally Zoho, and integrate use within the accounts / stock control function
To have a bookkeeping / accounts background
To be capable of managing all stock levels, ensuring optimum stock alongside minimal costs
To implement an automated stock reordering process
To implement more efficient use of batch codes and stock rotation
To asses ROI - marketing spend Vs sales figures, etc
To analyse data and report to SLT
To suggest improvements to processes and systems where required
To liaise with other departments regarding stock levels or issues
To conduct yourself for the benefit of the business, our suppliers, our clients and in support of other team members.
To represent our business and all of our brands professionally and appropriately.
To be prepared to travel to meetings and industry events.
To be prepared to carry out tasks outside of your immediate job description when required for the overall benefit of the business.
Possess exceptional organisation, time management and communication skills.
To have a keen interest in the beauty and skincare sector would be beneficial.
