We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team.




As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and providing essential day to day administrative support to the business.




You will also be required to carry out the following (this list is not exhaustive):


Sales Ledger including
Raise invoices and self-bills to customers and suppliers Import all invoices to sage Credit control Assist with period end Assist with accounts email box and manage any customer queries Post credit card payments Reconcile HP payments to HP schedule Foreign VAT Provide cover to finance department, including purchase ledger Liaise with Head Office colleagues to streamline and improve processes Store and file paperwork To undertake any other duties and deal with matters which can be reasonably expected of this position.

Ideally, you would have:


Level 4 AAT 3+ year experience within an accounts department Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Customer service skills. Confident excel user and other accountancy systems with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Attention to detail You can work well as part of a team and/or on your own initiative. Strong organisational skills The ability to prioritise, multitask and manage your workload. Full driving licence. Extremely well organised and efficient with the ability to respond effectively to ad-hoc and unexpected issues with high volume.
