Axon Moore are proud to be partnering with an enterprising SME in Wigan as they look to recruit for an adaptable Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and dynamic team. This business adopt a flexible and interchangeable outlook, hence, this role is well suited to proactive finance individuals who are happy to gain exposure and help out across multiple aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accurately processing supplier invoices in line with the agreed payment terms.
- Accurately matching and posting invoices
- Completing payment runs
- Manage supplier statements and relationships
- Maintenance of the accounts email inbox
- Collaborative work across departments
- Resolving invoice queries with requesters and suppliers
- Complex reconciliations
- Assisting with credit control
- Support with sales department
- Ad-hoc duties
- An enterprising and proactive attitude
- Able to work flexibly across numerous aspects of the business
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using Xero (desired)
- Able to develop good internal and external working relationships
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload
