We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can work well on their own or as part of a team and good communication skills are highly important. This role will support essential financial processes, including purchase and sales ledgers, payroll, banking, and accounting. Our new Accounts Assistant will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring smooth transactions within the Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Posting of sales invoices
Posting of Purchase invoices
Ensuring that any unallocated items are investigated proficiently and quickly
Reconcile Supplier statements
Reconciling Bank statements
Other finance tasks as required
Confident and effective telephone skills when taking calls as required.
Good numeracy skills
Confident use of Microsoft Excel
Ability to work under pressure and without supervision
Ability to liaise with colleagues when appropriate
Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to
