GC Group, a local, family-run business, is looking to recruit an experienced

Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper

for our busy office in

Aberdeen

.

The main responsibility of this role is to support the finance team with key business accounting activities. This includes raising and sending invoices, ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and chasing late payments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high level of self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Daily Tasks Will Include:



Invoice processing and raising sales invoices Credit control and managing late payments Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers Performing bank reconciliations Liaising with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers Reconciling control accounts and assisting with month-end reconciliations Basic administration duties

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:



A minimum of

2 years' experience

working within a busy finance function

Essential:

Proven experience using

Sage Line 50

Proficiency in MS packages, including

Excel

Strong verbal and written communication skills
This is a

full-time, permanent

role. The working hours are

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
