We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant/Clerk to join our team in a rare opening. The ideal candidate will be joining the largest family run motor dealer group in Northamptonshire and will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting functions.
Duties
Cashbooks
Purchase ledger
Managing a dealerships internal accounts
Processing weekly / monthly Payments
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
Reporting directly to the Managing Directors and Group Accountant
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide support for financial inquiries.
Support the finance team in various administrative tasks related to financial services.
Requirements
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
