A growing and well-regarded accountancy firm based in Southend is looking for a motivated and ambitious Accounts Associate to join their dynamic team. Role Responsibilities

Assist in preparing annual accounts and maintaining accurate financial records for a wide range of clients. Support with the collection and preparation of information required for VAT and tax returns. Communicate with external bodies, including HMRC, to follow up on routine queries. Contribute to basic compliance work and learn the foundations of accountancy practice. Collaborate closely with team members while also handling individual responsibilities. Carry out general administrative support where required.

Personal Requirements

You are studying towards (or interested in enrolling onto) AAT, with future progression to ACA or ACCA. Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Ability to manage your time effectively across various client assignments.
