We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Administrator to join two growing small businesses and take ownership of day-to-day financial administration. This is a full-time role (5 days per week) offering the chance to build strong experience across multiple businesses while working closely with the owner.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, wants to develop their finance skills, and is looking for a position with clear progression as the businesses continue to grow.
One of our businesses sells pre-loved luxury goods and the other is a B2B wholesale business.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Finance & Administration
Accurately record and track all income and expenses across both businesses
Maintain organised, up-to-date financial records
Monthly Reporting & Insights
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports for review
Assist with tracking expenses, margins, and key costs
Help produce clear financial summaries to support decision-making
Produce P & L with expenses for quarterly VAT return to be submitted to accountant.
Cash Flow & Payment Tracking
Maintain and update cash flow forecasts
Monitor incoming and outgoing payments
Flag potential cash flow issues or irregularities early
Accounts Support
Process supplier invoices and payments
Track customer invoices and receipts
Ensure all transactions are correctly recorded and accounted for
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous experience in an accounts, finance, or bookkeeping role
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Comfortable using accounting software and spreadsheets
Desirable
Interest in developing broader finance and reporting skills
Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
