We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting software and financial processes to effectively support our clients' needs.
Duties:
Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Utilise accounting software, or other relevant tools to manage financial data effectively.
Prepare financial reports and analyses to provide insights into account performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Experience:
Proven experience in account management or a similar role within a financial or accounting environment.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or other relevant platforms is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Schedule:
35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
