We are a local Timber Merchants, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the organisation's accounting processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting software and account management to contribute to our company's continued success.
Responsibilities
Manage customer accounts using Xero accounting software (training will be given if not familiar with Xero)
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and promptly
Reconcile financial statements and prepare reports for management review
Support the Accountants during audits by providing necessary documentation and insights
Collaborate with Directors to ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards
Skills
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously
Proficient in data entry, record keeping, and report generation
Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with customers and internal teams
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures within the environment
