Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting software and financial processes to effectively support our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and objectives. Oversee the preparation and delivery of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met efficiently. Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth or improvement. Assist clients with the use of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks, providing training as necessary. Handle accounts payable processes and ensure timely payments are made on behalf of clients. Resolve any issues or discrepancies in a professional manner, maintaining client trust and satisfaction.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is essential. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial documentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively and meet deadlines.
