We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, familiarity with various accounting software, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Be willing to be hands on in all areas of the accounting process.
Responsibilities
Complete and oversee both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments/receipts.
Preparing bank reconciliations on a daily basis
Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, and Sage50 to manage financial records efficiently.
Completion of the monthly payroll, posting and balancing HMRC account
VAT And CIS Returns to be completed and submitted within deadline dates
Prepare financial reports and analyses to provide insights into clients' financial status.
Assist in the preparation of the year end accounts
Assisting in all areas of the accounting process
Reviewing procedures for efficiencies and accuracy
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, and Sage 50.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
