You'll be working for an award-winning small business of 20 people, based out of Bramhall, Stockport. We are pioneers and world leaders in our niche market (selling specialised print substrates used for window graphics), doing business in every continent. There are 5 separate companies in the Group, registered in the UK, the Netherlands and US.

Your new role



We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our Finance Team. You will be reporting to the Head of Finance and supporting our Accounts Administrator whilst working closely with the customer service and logistics teams on a daily basis. You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience across all aspects of the Finance function and provide real input into improvements to our systems and processes.

Key responsibilities



Support the Head of Finance with the Month-End Sales Reporting and Management Accounts processes. Support the Accounts Administrator with the sales and purchase ledger processes as required. Reconcile company bank accounts. Credit Control - Generate customer statements, proactively monitor and chase overdue customer balances, and the management of customer credit limits including customer onboarding. Become familiar with our other processes including payroll and VAT returns and be comfortable to process these if required.

Competencies



Excellent numeric skills. Attention to detail. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook. Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines. Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal abilities. Enthusiasm for learning new skills and knowledge. Good team worker. Sage Line 50 experience (desirable). Experience of working in a similar Financial role (desirable). Qualified or Part-Qualified Management Accountant or similar (desirable).
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 32,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
