The AP Administrator is responsible for the day to day running of the AP function. This includes posting invoices, dealing with supplier queries, statement reconciliations and weekly payment runs. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a background in Accounts Payable. This role is also first point of contact for the site so the successful candidate will be expected to answer phones and deal with visitors.
Responsibilities
Daily transactional duties such as posting supplier invoices and credit notes
Matching invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts, and investigating any discrepancies
Having a good knowledge of GL accounts and posting invoices to appropriate cost centres
Dealing with supplier queries and resolving in a timely manner
Management of the AP email inbox
Scanning of delivery notes into the system, and ensuring any missing paperwork is investigated ASAP
Supplier statement recs
Weekly GBP and Euro BACS payments
Developing and maintaining a good working relationship with key internal stakeholders
Maintain and organise accurate records, files, and documentation.
Reception duties such as answering the phone and greeting visitors
Any other adhoc duties reasonably associated with your role.
