Would you like to work as part of the Financial Transactions team as the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manager, We are looking for a suitably qualified finance manager to work in the accounts payable and receivable team. Focusing on income and expenditure which helps to support operational needs of the Scottish Court & Tribunals Service? This is an exciting role within the Financial Transactions Team (FiTT). FiTT is one of six teams which makes up the Finance & Procurement Unit (FPU). FPU is a division of Scottish Courts & Tribunals Service (SCTS). The role reports to the Senior Finance Manager Transactions and works closely with other members of FPU as well as Courts & Tribunals staff to deliver efficient and effective transaction services for SCTS

The roles provide a real opportunity to impact on the business, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient transactional processing. The purpose of this role is to effectively manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring compliance with legislative and accounting requirements.

We will trust you to take a proactive role in ensuring appropriate levels of financial control are in place and being adhered too. Following a detailed training plan, you will become the subject matter expert for the AP and AR functions, providing support to your colleagues. You will be able to articulate and provide sound resolutions, where required, to technical queries across the team; whilst managing the day-to-day business activities.
