MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant our client based in Derry/Londonderry on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client, is a leader around the world in manufacturing custom healthcare packaging, designed to meet medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers\' most stringent packaging requirements, boosted by a 60-year history of innovation. They are now seeking to add an Accounts Payable Assistant to their growing team, offering a good salary, 33 days holidays, company pension, a great working environment, and global exposure.

The Role:
As Accounts Payable Assistant you will support the finance team across Accounts Payable and Master Data, reporting to the AP Team Lead.

Duties include:

• Input invoices to the General Ledger
• High level of accuracy in financial detail
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure invoice issues/queries are resolved
• Prepare Month-end accruals and supplier reconciliations
• Effectively manage your time to adhere internal deadlines
• Manage master data across customer accounts
• Ad Hoc duties as required

What you need to succeed:

• Experience in a similar, AP/Purchase Ledger/finance role
• Proficient with Microsoft packages
• Attention to detail & ability to multitask
• SAP or other ERP experience would be advantageous
